I love this little beater truck!  If I had used pop’s Ranger, we would have to leave the tail gate open.  Mine swallowed it up and allowed me to close the tail gate for safe-keeping.

Well only if you want a 6' tree. My parents normally do 8-9' which is fine on top of their wagon (and in the old days would fit in their Previa with the door closed), but would be hanging out of the back of a (non-long bed) pickup (though of course the pickup would still get the job done).

As long as your 5' bed is more than a foot wide, a 6' tree would fit at a slant.

But, I do appreciate a good long bed and low bedside. Great truck!

Yes but our garage has not and will shut its door on 7.5ft beds.
